Ever Heard of a Frankfurt Afritada?

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Can – Vege Franks (cut each into 4 pieces)
  • 1 – Onion (medium; minced)
  • 2 Tsp. – Garlic (minced)
  • 1 – Vegetarian Boullion (cube; dissolve in 1 cup of water)
  • ½ Can – Tomato Paste
  • ½ - Bell Pepper (medium, cubed)
  • 1 – Potato (medium; cubed)
  • 2 to 3 – Bay Leaf
  • ½ Tsp. – Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons – Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat oil in a pot and add onion and garlic.
  2. Add potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper.
  3. Let it cook on slow/low fire.
  4. Add the Vege Franks and pan-fry them until a golden brown is achieved.
  5. Add the tomato paste and mix well.
  6. Add the dissolved boullion.
  7. Add salt and pepper.
  8. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
  9. Serve with rice or bread buns and enjoy!
