Ever Heard of a Frankfurt Afritada?
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Can – Vege Franks (cut each into 4 pieces)
- 1 – Onion (medium; minced)
- 2 Tsp. – Garlic (minced)
- 1 – Vegetarian Boullion (cube; dissolve in 1 cup of water)
- ½ Can – Tomato Paste
- ½ - Bell Pepper (medium, cubed)
- 1 – Potato (medium; cubed)
- 2 to 3 – Bay Leaf
- ½ Tsp. – Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons – Oil
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat oil in a pot and add onion and garlic.
- Add potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper.
- Let it cook on slow/low fire.
- Add the Vege Franks and pan-fry them until a golden brown is achieved.
- Add the tomato paste and mix well.
- Add the dissolved boullion.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
- Serve with rice or bread buns and enjoy!
