For Those Chicken and Rice Lovers!

ADOBO CHOPLET (FILIPINO STYLE)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Can – Vege Choplet (cut into bite size)
  • 1 Tablespoon – Garlic (minced)
  • 2 – Bay Leaves
  • 6 to 7 – Whole Pepper Corns
  • 3 Tablespoons – Soy Sauce or Coconut Amino
  • 3 Tablespoons – White Vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoons – Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp. – Corn Starch
  • ¾ Cup - Water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add all the ingredients, except corn starch and water, and marinate the Vege Choplets for 2 hours in the same sauce pan you plan to cook in.
  2. Cook the Vege Choplets between 10 to 15 minutes on slow/low fire until cooked and aromatic.
  3. Once aromatic, add the corn starch slurry and boil it one time.
  4. Serve with rice and enjoy!
